    6.31 x 5.19 inches
    A fantastic tooth with a very rare polka dot pattern and incredible size that goes throughout the root and burlette of the tooth and into the enamel of the crown itself. Teeth of this quality are not offered often and I only know of one other with these particular patterns. There is a self bite to one side of the enamel, otherwise this tooth turned out to be really nice once I cleaned it up from the matrix and dust on it. I stabilized any visible cracks with B-72 to maintain the integrity of the specimen. No repair or restoration has been done to this specimen, I only cleaned and stabilized the piece.
    Included is a photo of how the tooth was found years ago in the Peruvian Desert.
    In the last two photos, I show the details of a tan colored rounded material covering the tooth root, I suspect this to be cartilage because of the pattern of round bulbs and how it rests against the root beneath the white calcium covering the fossil.
