Description

I offer you an antenna tuner presektor designed for use in English radio stations of the CLANSMAN series.
The subassembly operates in the range of 30 to 86MHz.
The device is a smoothly tuned presektororemorem antenna.
The tuning is done using the black knob visible in the picture.
The device is equipped with a 500μA tilt meter, which is a tuning indicator.
The device has good RF parameters, because both capacitance and inductance are both tuned inside and simultaneously.
Thanks to this, the circuits retain the same goodness in the whole band.
The subassembly can work in a 50Ω impedance path or it can work as an antenna adjusting element in the operating frequency range.
The antenna can be from 40 cm to 2.7 m long.
The subassembly is made very solidly. It is practically waterproof. The whole is located in a pressure-cast aluminum housing.
It was made of the best quality components.
The internal variable capacitor is silver-plated and has ceramic insulation.
At the same time, the entire device has very small dimensions, i.e. length 19.5 cm, width 8 cm, thickness 5 cm.

The entire module can be subjected to various modifications. Without problems, it is tuned as a presektor tuner for higher KF bands.
One of the amateur radio operators used the module as a base for building a magnetic antenna on the KF band (capacitor with a tunable element, housing and indicator).
The whole subassembly tolerates 10W of power without any problem (we checked).
The offered device is functional, it carries small traces of scratches from use.
