River/land sites teeth are very defined. Most can still cut you or poke through your skin. Land site teeth look like they just fell out of the shark's mouth as there is no tumbling in the river.
All of these shark teeth are fossilized and are from the Miocene Epoch (5 million to about 25 million years ago). These teeth are those of Sand Tiger, Snaggletooth, Lemon, Tiger, Whaler as well as other types of sharks. Whaler sharks include Bull, Reef, Dusky, Black Tip and White tip sharks. Whaler shark teeth are difficult to identify as their teeth are very similar to one another. Most people just call them Bull shark teeth. Not every order will contain all of the above mentioned teeth.
Because this package is an educational tool, we have included some important facts and issues regarding sharks and their importance to all humans on planet earth.
We do not sell or offer white modern shark teeth due to the inhumane way most sharks are harvested. Killing sharks for their fins, jaws and teeth damages the oceans as these predators are extremely important to the ocean's ecosystem.
